1，RESP 必须在从帐户建立起的25年内关闭
2，最多只能有21年向RESP供款
3，总供款额的限制是42,000
4, 每年供款的上限是4,000
5, CESG每年的上限是400,(20%,可以carry forward)
6, CESG的总上限是7,200。
7，如果到时候孩子不上学，本金可以退还contributor，但产生的增长(Income)不退，CESG的本金和Income一定不退。
8，如果届时contributor的RRSP帐户还有“空间”，可以转自己部分的Income去，不超过50,000
9, 20年的复利免税增长，Income会很可观。
10，很多小的RESP投资机构收取相当可观的管理费和手续费。

几点考虑：
1，当进行是否进行RESP投资的时候，先问自己是不是买足了RRSP？
2，当分析投资RESP的机会成本的时候，应用Mortgage的长期利率做为参考。因为RESP一般要存在15年以上，可以6%作成本计算。看自己能否接受每年付出2000元，这么多年没有利息，同时，却要付Mortgage的高昂利息。
3，是否买了必须的Life Insurance？

RESP可以提供投资的免税增长，而且有CESG的额外资助，是个好东西。总的来说，如果有孩子的话，应该考虑买。问题的关键是什么时候买。

资金紧张的同胞不用急着买。如果连可以省税的RRSP购买都有困难，又何必去买RESP？如果还不能给孩子一个稳定的家居，有何苦操心20年后的教育经费？

确有资金的，孩子3岁以上的，应该考虑建立RESP帐户，有多个孩子的，可以建立一个帐户，写多个受益人即可，这样一来以后的灵活性大。

比如五年为限：
第一个FUND是每年都是8%的年增长率
第二个FUND的五年增长率起伏不定，分别是16%, 16%, -16%,16%, 8%。
从简单的算术来看，好象第二个FUND的表现和第一个一样。
实际上第一个的五年总收益是：46.9%
第二个的五年总收益是：41.6%

至于互惠基金，即可以投资在Equity,也可以投资在Bond,很多互惠基金比如：Gloabl Bond fund, Canadian Bond fund, Global Bond Index fund就是全部投资在Bond市场上的。

还是不要把概念混淆了。

所有的Bond的价格都要受影响，中长期BOND的价格会急剧下降。这样的情况曾经出现在1998-2000年。象你这样所宣称的把全部资金都只放在债券市场，还是收益率最低的政府债券市场，不但没有分散风险，还在一定程度上增加了投资风险。
