7年前本科毕业于国内二流的大学；
四年加权平均分为83；
最后两年加权平均分为86；
GRE为2110；
TOEFL为243，TWE为5。
没有学术背景，没有发表过论文。
申请的是WATERLOO的CS。

1. 我不是CS的，不太了解具体情形，但我想如果你有时间可以再考一次TOEFL，争取过250，估计竞争力能更强些。你作文和GRE很好啊。BTW，信里没说拒你的原因吗？

2. WATERLOO是CS最好的学校，连我这外行都知道，所以你是不是可以选其他的学校，不一定非要上名校嘛（如果没上去名校的话），大牛应该能伸能屈。

3. 你本科毕业之后的工作经验可以强调一下，这是你跟其他没有工作经验的申请者竞争的优势。再有，尽量申请跟你工作背景一致的方向，否则优势就浪费了。

4. 申请过程中要跟教授联系，得是跟你方向一致的教授，否则白套。要充分利用在加拿大近水楼台的优势，可以跟教授见面等。

以上均为个人观点和体会，仅供参考。
