2. they are professionals, several questions could corner you easily, and if they find out you are not telling the truth, your visa could be revoked immediately, and you won't be able to get a new one before you get Canadian passport.

3. having said all, I guess if I were you, I'd avoid such situation, minimize the possibility of being turned back without lying. how? either F2 / H4B / a job / full-time student / any property in Canada?

      1. what's your husband's status? F1 or H1B, you might need F2 or H4B if you plan to stay more than one month, the officer will ask you many questions to determine whether you'd be back after visit. probably your return ticket means nothing as far as he/she is concerned.

      2. If he is TN1, do you have a job or full-time student, or any property in Canada?

      3. B1/B2 is temp visa, since your husband is already in US, you need to convince the custom officer you will be back in a considerably short period of time, otherwise he/she is going to turn you back.
