Yes. That's what I'm doing now. The same hose from Costco. Use a pushpin to make a tiny hole at the location that you need. One tiny hole is enough.

Yes, it works pretty well. I started last year. The hose goes through different sections of my veggie plot. I did research on irrigation hose and found that didn't fit in my situation.

Based on my own experience, a pushpin hole for a tree is more than enough. I have to control the water flow with the tap.
