Dear Visa Officer,
I have been applying for immigration since *** and now I am still waiting for my visa. The timing is perfect for a follow-up because my medicals will expire in ***.
Apparently, I am a victim of government bureaucracy. Each time I asked you about my case, you either ignored me or told me to wait. I understand that the background check is part of the deal (AKA, necessary evil), but I really had a hard time figuring out why it is so slow.
The experience of waiting is dissatisfactory and devastating. I must ask you one more time to finalize my case as soon as you can. The background check takes 6 – 12 months to complete. And it started right after I took medical exam on ***, so I will be needing another one on my own dime soon. You know that I am qualified and Canada needs me as much as I need Canada. Why can’t you just send me the immigration paper and call it a day?
Fairness means the world to me. If you fail to do something real to improve your service, I will be taking more aggressive measures to ensure my complaint is understood and dealt with fully.
Cheers,
***
