British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss intends to call on the allies to provide Ukraine with combat aircraft and heavy offensive weapons. This is stated in a press release of the Foreign Office, CNN reports.

Tomorrow, Truss will deliver a keynote speech at Madison House in London, declaring the need to "double the support" of the Ukrainian armed forces.

She intends to say that the global security system, "designed to guarantee peace and prosperity, has failed Ukraine," and that a "new approach" needs to be developed.
