The CEO of Ukrhydroenergo said that a new power plant would be built very quickly on the site of the destroyed Kakhovka HPP. According to Ihor Syrota, professional discussions have already begun, and specialists from the design institute and builders have been involved.

Syrota told Forbes that the reconstruction would cost up to $1 billion and take 5 years.
