u need setup configration of router to "forward" 80 port traffic from the router to your PC. So that the reqeust to router can reach your PC, then your webserver can reply the html pages to browser.

And, if the pc u use is using DHCP to get IP address from router, u'd better find a way to make the ip address of the PC fixed.
1. configure the ip address manully by setting up: ipaddress, net mask, DNS server(the router ipaddress).
2. some router support to bind ipaddress with MAC address. So, find out MAC of ur net card and set it up in ur router.

Normally, the interface to configure router is http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.2.1. read the manual of the router first. if ur landlord didn't setup password, u r able to access the router configration.

they also provide dynamic DNS client to update the ip address of the domain name. Think about when you change ISP from rogers to Synpatico. the domain name still work with DDNS client running on your PC.

home本身有没有线程限制我不清楚。另外，如果你要用asp的话只能用iis，那样至少要xp pro，9x+pws也可以，但我想你不会那么用。第三方的asp server毕竟不如ms自己的。有条件还是装个2000 server吧。
