Some clues

1) Absolutely most companies use Unix
Box as server machines.

2) Java Web Server is out of scene, because Sun won't develop it any more. MIIS does not support server-side Java. It is good for some small companies.

3) In Canada, IBM Webspehre is very hot. I think Websphere, Weblogic , iPlanet, Gemstome and leading Application Server Products.

4) Weblogic 4.5.1 will be out of stage soon.
Weblogic Commerce Server is a good tool for you to learn EJB.

5) Few serious companies use Windows NT/2000 for servers.

What about Java Web Server and IIS in CA? Is Weblogic Server more popular in CA? If it is,which version is more,4.5.1 or 5.1.0 or latest 6.0? What about Bea Weblogic Commerce Server? What are their main platform or enviroment in CA, Window NT/2000 or Unix or Sun Solaris ?

Parden me for asking so much questions. Thank you very much in advance!
    • it is Weblogic on Solaris, I think
But it depends on companies. Our company
will not use Weblogic, we plan to use a Java
application server which supports SNMP. It's
not popular application server platform, howerever,
it is used in Tele network management field.
