As to fast food restaurant, MacDonald is girls' favorite. A good place I found is Pizza Hut. Sit in at the restaurant, order crispy PAN pizza, and let kids pick the toppings.

On your way home, stop at Wal-Mart, let kids pick their gifts with limit of $5-$10/each kid, you pay the bill.

Ask your kid how s/he likes to celebrate her/his birthday. Girls and boys at different ages, all have different ways to celebrate.
