YIP’S：同事的好朋友说不好，光会不停的想办法收钱。具体情况没听他说. 这个周末有OPEN HOUSE.

TRILLIUM：听说不错, 学的非常多, 有朋友两个小孩都在那学习, 三年级时都考回到PUBLIC的GIFTED CLASS. 另外一个朋友说她三岁的儿子在里面跟不上, 学得很深, 后来就转出来了, 但她说学校还是非常好的. 我去看过, 好象全都是华人孩子. 今天有OPEN HOUSE.

QUEENS: 有朋友的孩子在那, 说不错.

知道UNION MONTESORRI吗? 在KENNEDAY & 16YH, 我听到过许多正面的反馈. 但听说学位比较紧张. 我两周前去给小孩登记, 现在在WAITING LIST.

全都是听说的, 只能做参考了. 希望对你有帮助.

Do you know What's the hour for the openhouse? I can't find it in their website. Thanks for your info. about CMS Thornhill campus. I went to their open house on Thursday and feel is not as good as TMS( no space in Sept.) and Richmondhill Montessori School( location not as good as CMS). I found there's not much posters and learning decorations . As I know, the Montessori method is to provide a learning environment so that the kids can explore and learn by themselves. These blank walls don't like learning friendly. I have another concern about the language. It looks like the majority of the teachers and the kids don't speak english as their fist language.Is there any problem for the kids to speak good Engish ?

I went Trillium's open house today. It 's a nice school, but it looks like 90% students are Chinese. I'm a little bit worrying if our kids will have some difficulty dealing with the real life in future. In addition, Trillium is not a pure Montessori school. It is half montessori and half traditional. The age group is not mixed. I don't know it is good or not.

不知你的小孩子多大了。我觉得给２，３岁的孩子带饭是件很头疼的事。而且从硬件来说，这间学校也并不比Towncenter 强。

关于age group 方面，我也不知道是Mix 好还是不Mix好。希望听到别的朋友的意见。

My son will be 4 in June. We went to Trillium between 1:00 to 2:00. If you saw a little boy always made comments in Mandarin loudly, that's my son. Do you have any idea what's ethnic group the students and the teachers are made of roughly in Town center? I'm a little bit worrying that a nearly complete Chinese student environment in Trillum is not ideal for the kid to deal with other people when they are back to public school.

Trillium 华人孩子是真多，我LG说数了一下，pre-casa １２个孩子里看Last Name 大概有１０是华人。而且以讲粤语的为主，因为pre-casa 的老师告诉我们，她会用粤语哄孩子睡觉。TCMS 华人孩子也有一半以上吧。地处Markham, 都差不多。 -qqqqq(有翼自薄); 2006-3-7 {120} (#2824035@0)
我们对这个倒不太在意。孩子这么小，最重要的还是老师（对孩子好，有耐心，最好还有童心）和学校（有够大的场地和够多的玩具）。

感谢你提供的信息，我们今天也去了Yips. 最近也参观过大大小小几间daycare了，Yips是见到的第一个周末把孩子们的教室空出来办班上课的。daycare孩子们的东西就挂在边上，大人进进出出，病毒感染的机会比别的学校不知多了几倍。 -qqqqq(有翼自薄); 2006-3-6 {60} (#2821994@0)
还有这间学校的所谓中文教学其实是粤语的，所以对我们也不合适。

周末我也去了YIP‘S OPEN HOUSE。她说三岁八个月之前（以九月份上学算）在分校，主要学广东话，大的孩子才可以上总校（BRIMLY AND 14TH ），注重普通话教育。不过分校的环境一般。 -joyce030312(wee); 2006-3-8 (#2826381@0)

My friend called the school last week and they said waiting list is full too. There is no lunch in Unionville M. Casa $820 full day. I am not on web often, sorry for the late reply.
