      我也准备申请父母来探亲，有如下问题请教：

      1）申请父母的探亲签证申请表是在哪拿的，网上的英文表在北京大使馆好使不？是邮寄的还是柜台递表？多长时间批的？

      2）我没有工作，但存折上有10K USD是否可以，是否还要父母出据他们自己的存款证明？

      3）申请时，一般填多长时间为好？以什么理由（如探望儿女）好？

      4）你父母签证延期是以什么理由？

      • Ans: 1. Application Form downloaded from BJ embassy. Handed in by my friend who lives in BJ. You have to prepare an authorization letter for your friend. Mail in will take you long long time. -richard8822(Richard); 2001-12-27 {163} (#314891@0)
        It took 5 HOURS(same day) to get the visa. 2. Not sure. 3. We filled in 6 months. reason: visit my child's family. 4. Stay with us for the Christmas. Good Luck!

          4）Notice of Assessment issued by Revenue Canada是什么？（我还没报过税）
          5）父母已退休是不是就不用假条了（12）

      2 不用填的地方是空着，还是填什么？

      3 父母退休，申请表BOX 5（name and address of employer of principal applicant) 不填，还是填退休前的单位？

      4 BOX 7a (Immigration status of applicant in country where applying) 是填Citizenship 还是其它？BOX 7b（Valid Until）填什么？

      5 Notice of Assessment issued by Revenue Canada 是什么东西？我2001年10月登陆的，什么时候能有这个东西？

      6 在申请人的Family Composition infomation form中去世的和失去联系的是否不用填？
