实际上,前几年Gartner曾宣称DB2市场份额第一,那是因为只算新销售,后来也学IDC, 算上维护费用,Oracle已有客户多,一下便遥遥领先.

Oracle现有份额最高，主要原因是它进入市场早，市场销售aggressive,新功能多.
Oracle 在市场近三十年（1979）,SQL Server (1989) 和 DB2 UDB (1993) 都晚了十几年.
现在SQL Server和DB2都在奋起直追。在Windows下SQL Server有50%+以上份额, DB2 则和SAP结盟，Oracle的地位正受到威胁.
