本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛Thanks for the effort of parents and residences in the Willowdale area, the TDSB is considerting to have notorious option "z" out of so called revitalization project. The plan is trying to save money byclosing 10 schools in Willowdale area as the pilot project.

According to school trustee Mari Rutka's memo, the option z is out for now.

Willowdale Chinese community actively involved with these activities. They signed off petition, talked to their school trustee, city councilor, and MPP, etc... In exchange, the board is listening.

A parent and residence protesting meeting is scheduled to demonstrate the unity of the community for opposing the TDSB's plan for school closing. In order to let this message pass around, the protesting noise really need to be loud. The meeting is run by a group of volunteers.
