In RCM Exam. Repertoire and tech req is 20. ear test 10, sight reading 10. Special after grade 7, musical is important. Depend why you want kids to play for Or they want to play. I just want my boys have music in their life. After grade 8 exam. They played classic guitar. Right now, they didn't take any music class. But they play what they like song, music. Really think why you want kid to play. For exam, good teacher is important. My kids piano fee is normal price. My friend's kids are higher than me. I don't think high price is good. But they can charge higher price, should be have some special.
