My kid’s tutor is a private school teacher who also does tutoring at home. She will put together materials that are appropriate for a student after assessment. Normally she teaches vocabulary and writing in class and gives comprehension and writing exercises as home work which she will check in the following class. The materials she uses are very good. I’m familiar with all the activity books in book stores but have never seen the ones she uses. Maybe they’re available only to teachers. She currently has a couple of spots on Sunday morning small group classes which were opened about one week ago. Her home is at Eglington & Mavis, and she teaches up to grade 6.
