Suggest to check the piano before it is delivered to your home!!!

My piano has some mechanic noise when piano keys are released. It occurs on almost every upright piano, but as long as it is not loud, it is ok. I think my piano is a bit loud, something may loose. It is an easy fix.

Called sales people several times. So far no one handles the problem. I was even told there may be a charge (surprise, do I have a warranty?)

Suggestion to your guys. Check your piano before it is delivered to your home. In the store’s warehouse, they only check outside to see if the piano looks ok. You are just not lucky enough if you get one with some problems. Hard to argue with them and to get quick services after you paid and piano was delivered.

We have 8 members on board now. Since Kawai manufactures rebate (a $100 instant rebate) running of the month of September, and the coming weekend is our final chance to have our group presentation and deal. Please PM me if you want to join the team. Any question, do not hesitate to contact.

We would like everybody to be in the showroom at 9AM sharp. I know that a lot of people are driving long distances to go to Oakville. To be included in the group deal each family has to arrive before 10AM unless they have left a credit card deposit over the phone. If you need carpooling, please call me ASAP. I will give it a try.

The store manager, Mr. Stuart Harrison will give us a presentation. It will take about 45 minutes. Then he will hold a Q&A session to answer any concern we may have. For those parents who are in the stage of collecting information, please do not miss the presentation and Q&A. When the clock reaches 10AM, the cut-off time, he will count the people in the group and determine the final price. Later he will bring everybody to a room where his sales people can help with the paper works. All the paperwork should be done around 12PM.

Piano: 2008 Kawai K-3 Professional Upright Piano, Ebony Polish. 48" (121 cm) (H) * 60" (150 cm) (W) * 24" (59 cm) (D), and the weight is 483 lbs. (219 kg)

Price: If 9 of us show up on time, the price will be $5,550 included tax, and if we luckily get 10 in the group, we will get the best deal of $5,500.

Delivery: allow 1-3 weeks for delivery of the piano to your house.

Tuning: allow 3-4 weeks after the delivery for the dealer to send a technician in to do the tuning - this is to allow the piano to adapt to your house environment, e.g., temperature, humidity, and so on to ensure the best tuning effect. The second tuning can happen any time during the year after the first tuning upon your request.

Payment: Deposit of $500 (cash, debit card or credit card are acceptable) to be paid on Saturday in the store; and the balance can be paid with two options: 1) pay certified check only to the delivery person; or 2) pay cash or debit card to the store before the delivery.

Financing Option: 3-month 0% financing for the qualifiers.
