My son is in grade 5. Today we had a meeting with my son's teacher. The teacher told us the school is creating a Individual Education Plan for him because of my son's behavior.
On the letter the teacher gave us, there is a definition of the IDE: IDE is the written plan which describes the strengths and needs of individual students and which summarizes the expectations of a student's learning during the school year.
Anybody has the same experience about these. Does the IDE really help? Will the IDE affect the student's record in the future like going to highschool, university?
Thanks!
