1. Chinese Driver's license MUST be notarized by Ottawa embassy. They only accept notarization from there. 2.in Montreal, there is only writhing test and road test, I don't know if it can be transfered, you'd better call the SAAQ directly, the telphone is: (514)873-5803, or find more info at sinoquebec. Welcome and Good luck in Montreal :)
oh: BTW, if you have driver's license in China, you can take the road test at once if you have the notarization from Ottawa embassy. There are some ad. in sinoquebec that can do the notarization in Ottawa for you. The price is about 65$. I did it in a place in Chinatown. Maybe somebody can do that cheaper.

    I am in montreal and my questions are the following:
    1.does a chinese driver's license have to be notarized by chinese embassy or some other organizations?and could they know which is true or false?
    2.could i transfer G1 acquired from toronto to G1 in montreal and deduct the time needed to wait?
