Sometimes you open a door to someone, you are closing a door to someone else.

Somebody is on board, somebody else will drop off with various reasons like different style.

We need balance, compromise and tolerance to certain extend, and we try to accomodate the most not all.

Also, the audience want to see something new and something different. One way to achieve this is to move certain programs to the next year, so next year we have something that we do not have this year. If this year includes programs for next year, and next year includes programs from this year, the audience actually see the same show every year. That is way too boring for the audience and way too less challenging for the show creators.
