I think I did delete everthing in Browsing History, that should take care of all the cookies, right? Still no use. Also after I reply, I cannot close the window by clicking the "close window" dialog, I have to click the X at the right top......

thanks, I think I did all I could and/or all what you've suggested, still.... I think there might be something wrong with the PC itself. anyway, will check tmr to see if things are back to normal....
