HK case information to share with you...

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛We used an agent COIBS for the case and it was a HK case. (Agent is really a personal preference. They don't cost that much these days, about 1200 CAD. ) We received the interview waiver and ME in Nov. of 2001. Things went slow for the last 7 months. Our agent mentioned that HK has stopped interviewing independent applications for the next 3 months just to catch up with the family class backlogs. For the first 4 months of 2002, there were hardly any family class LPs issued from HK so all of a sudden it seems that BJ had been processing the family class applications faster than HK. While this maybe true for the time being, HK should still be faster on a general basis. Many LPs have been issued from HK office and I do believe the trend will go on for a few months. (By the way, ME records were sent to HK before, now they are all processed in BJ). Our agent also mentioned that even though it took us 7 months after ME to receive the LP, sometimes cases can be processed at a pace beyond belief, in a matter of 2 to 4 months. She could not really catergorize these fast cases but she mentioned that better income and a track record of tax payment history can be helpful in these cases. These are some information I hope can be helpful to you, or at least, to ease your feeling of facing and talking to a wall when dealing with CIC. I wish you all good luck and if you need to know something, I'll be more than happy to share with you. Cheers.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
