O2S Replacement: Removal Procedure

Notice: The oxygen sensor uses a permanently attached pigtail and connector. Do not remove the pigtail from the oxygen sensor. Damage to or removal of the pigtail of connector could affect proper operation of the oxygen sensor.

Important: Take care when handling the Oxygen sensor(O2S 1). The in-line electrical connector and louvered end must be kept free of grease, dirt or other contaminats. Avoid using cleaning solvents of any type. DO NOT drop or roughly handle the O2S1.

Important: The O2S 1 may be difficult to remove when the engine remperature is below 48C(120F).

Notice: The use of excessive force may damage the threads in the exhaust pipe.
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect the O2S 1 electrical connector
3. Carefully remove the O2S 1.

是BOSCH牌的FE6168，价82.69，加上1.49的ANTISEIZE，连税合计96.81。读吗无问题，我是用万用表量输出电压，不到0.2伏，不过我的万用电表是模拟式的， -elantra93(拆家); 2002-6-19 {120} (#588041@0)
1伏档内阻只有20K，所以可能不是正确的测量方法，因此我并不肯定传感器有问题，换上也没觉得有什么改善。明天天亮后再测遍电压。

O2 sensor 正常工作的时候电压在 0 － 1 伏之间变化，你测到0.2 伏很正常啊！说明这时候air 进入比较多。正常情况下一般保持在0.5 伏比较好。如果怠速状态下电压也是 0.2 就应该更换了。 -violent_panda(暴力大熊猫); 2002-6-19 (#588140@0)

Important: A special anti-seize compound is used on the oxygen sensor threads. The compound consists of a liquid graphite and glass beads. The graphite will burn away, but the galss beads will remain, making the sensor easier to remove. New or service sensors will already have the compound applied to the threads. If a sensor is removed from the engine, and if for any reason it is to be reinstalled, the threads must have an anti-seize compound applied before reinstallation.
1. Coat the threads of the O2S with anti-seize compound, if necessary.
2. Install the O2S.
Tighten
Tighten the O2S 41 N.m (30 lb ft)
3. Connect the O2S electrical connector.
