States issue junk titles to indicate that a vehicle is not road worthy and cannot be titled again in that state

车被total以后，保险公司有两种处理方法： -busy(不想闲着也不想动); 2002-8-11 {394} (#686385@0)
salvage - 很便宜的卖给修车厂/dealer，修复后再卖，title就叫salvage。salvage的车要经过交通安全部门的检测才允许出售。
如果车实在没有修复的价值，保险公司就卖到junk yard，供人拆零件用，叫junk title。
一般来说，尽量不要买 salvage 的车，主要因为以后卖的时候不值钱。相反的，salvage的车一定比同期相似的车便宜很多，大概只有2/3的价钱吧，所以如果懂车、需要便宜的、不在乎再卖的时候被砍价儿的，也可以考虑。
