Dress comfortably!
The Rexall Centre is an open air venue – you will be sitting outdoors! Please dress according to the weather and consider that the temperature does drop after sunset. All concert events will take place rain or shine.
Check your tickets!
If you have not received your e-tickets or if you have misplaced your tickets, please email us at info@blackcreekfestival.com and we will be happy to assist you.
Special needs?
If you or any of your guests have special needs at the venue, e.g. mobility issues, wheelchair access - please approach one of our onsite BlackCreek Festival ushers who would be pleased to assist you and your guests with any special requirements you may have. Please note that wheelchairs are not available for rent at the venue. Accessible parking is available in the accessible lot (see map), which can be accessed via Murray Ross Parkway.
Drive to arrive….early!
With a capacity crowd expected for LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA with conductor LORIN MAAZEL: BEETHOVEN'S NINTH, you may want to get an early start and arrive well in advance of the 8:00 curtain. Please carefully plan your travel route in advance and avoid high traffic areas. It is advised that you avoid Keele Street south of Steeles Avenue, from The Pond Road to Finch Avenue as construction has reduced traffic to single lane both directions. Use Sentinel Road at Finch Avenue as an alternative.
Public transportation
Public transportation provides an alternative to driving – all major transit services come into the York University campus with buses leaving on a regular basis from Downsview, Sheppard, Finch, Keele and Jane TTC stations.
Parking
There are approximately 7,000 parking spots available (parking fees apply) on the York University Campus with frequent shuttle service available from every lot, except the lot located on Arboretum Lane.
