我问的问题:
1. I have sent police certificate obtained from China with the form IMM0008, and the form was confirm received at Jan 25, 2012 by CIC, do my parents have to obtain another copy of police certificate from China and send in (they were in Canada and haven't gone back China since then)?
2. Do they have to obtain police certificate from Canada? If so, which type of police certificate they need? Police officer told me there are two tpyes of police certificates, with fingerprint and without fingerprint.

If you have already sent in the original police certificate(s), do not resend.
You do not require obtaining a Canadian Police Certificate at this time.

    Police Certificates

    You must obtain a police certificate from each country or territory where you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18. It is your responsibility to contact the police or relevant authorities and apply for the required police certificate.

    Instructions and information on obtaining a police certificate from any country can be found on our Web site at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp.

    The original police certificate from each country must be received by our office within 60 days from the date of this letter. Failure to provide us with the original police certificate may result in your application being assessed on the information available on your file and may be refused.

    If you have already sent in the updated police certificate, you do not require to resend it.

    Please send your police certificate(s) to our office at the following address, and quote your file
    number on all your correspondence with our office.

              我问的问题:
