If you would like to make a change of address on your application form, you are advised to provide the documents listed below either by regular mail or fax ((86-10) 5139-4449). This is to ensure the consistency of information on your application form regarding your mailing address.

- Updated application form IMM 0008 (02-2012)E Generic (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM0008ENU_2D.pdf)

- Four (4) address labels with your complete name and address written clearly in Chinese characters

- Updated use of representative form (IMM5476E) if you have an agent, (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5476E.PDF)

最保险的方法是打电话更改，我原先on-line啊，传真啊都用过。结果几个月后去复查，还是旧地址。打电话更改完后，问接线员为什么原先的更改没起作用呢？回答是事情太多了，忙不过来呗。真的，原话如此的。 -xiaozhuang(小庄); 2012-8-11 (#7711808@0)

Call Center 上班前几分钟就开始打，或者下班前10分钟开始打。每次我用这方法，最多5分钟就接通了。

一定要写信改，以前试过打电话去call center改，他们告诉我，打完电话改以后，还要再发信改才算数。就是说，也要打电话通知他们，也要写信去。另外有一个agent教我，要在信封上写上Information Update.这样他们会快点打开你的信。 -cpeixin(cpeixin); 2012-8-15 (#7719125@0)
