哈尔伯特股市情绪指数(Hulbert Stock Sentiment Index)。该指数反映投资通讯编辑推荐投资股市所占的平均比例。这样，完全不需要解释，因为编辑推荐的投资股市比例是一个简单的事实。

哈尔伯特股市情绪指数不仅客观，而且对编辑情绪的最近变化非常敏感。该指数只计算那些最近更新了推荐投资股市比例的投资通讯编辑。

截止周一收盘时，该指数为16.1%。上周股市反弹之前，该指数跌至10%。而在七月份股市创下新低的时候，该指数跌至 -15.1%。该指数的历史最低记录是-81.8%。

因此，要说上周反弹之前的股市已经悲观到足以符合真正熊市底部的条件，这不有点太勉强了吗？
