Tango Paradiso is an unusual and entertaining quartet from Vancouver B.C.. This group is dedicated to performing traditional and post modern tango music in a unique and original way. They have performed to sold out concerts at two Du Maurier Jazz festivals, the Vancouver Sun concert series, the Nanaimo Jazz Society concert series, the Glen Eden recital concert series in Oregon among others. Upcoming concerts include March 30th, 8pm at Capilano College, and a CD release party at the Granville Island Revue Theatre in May. They also have a new CD available the middle of March, 2001.

Tango Paradiso captures the drama of a musical form that began in the bordellos and bars of Argentina. Their colourful and passionate repertoire ranges from faithful renditions of tango classics by the likes of Astor Piazzola to their own unique arrangements and original compositions which meld with Tango influences from Jazz and New Music.
