这个问题太专业，论坛里面没人能给出准确答案。下面是CIC的相关信息，你不清楚的话还是打电话去问吧。我个人觉得没离婚，而且还愿意继续担保的情况下，没有明确说一定要通知，关键是那句（any other important information）怎么解释。

If your spouse or common-law partner withdraws support for the sponsorship application, follow the steps below:

You or your spouse/ common-law partner must inform CPC-M and the visa office before permanent resident visas are issued to the person you are sponsoring and his or her family members.
You must include an amended copy of the sponsorship application and of the agreement, initialed by you and your co-signer, removing the co-signer’s support.
We will assess your financial situation to see if you have enough money to support your family without a co-signer.
If you do not meet the financial requirements on your own, the application for permanent residence will be refused.

Informing CIC of any changes

Consult the table below to know how to inform us of any changes following the submission of your application:

If there are any changes to your family status such as:

marriage;
divorce;
births;
deaths; or
any other important information.
