Translation of documents
Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:
the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
a certified copy of the original document.
也就是说，翻译后，翻译的人要提交一个affidavit，而这个affidavit需要：
An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document. Translators who are certified members in good standing of one of the provincial or territorial organizations of translators and interpreters of Canada do not need to supply an affidavit.
随便一个非家庭成员就可以翻译，但他签署的affidavit要in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the translator is living。 您办理过程中找这种commissioner了吗？
另一个问题，您那个牙医签的certify，是护照复印的每一页都签吗？还是每张复印上都写上牙医的initial，最后在一张纸上签名？
根据cic网站的说明，对于护照这部分，其实是三个东西：
1. 就是翻译，随便谁都可以，但不能家庭成员。所以我理解，更不能是自己；
2. 翻译人的affidavit，这个affidavit要一个有资格的人，即commissioner签字，表示他在场（翻译发誓说翻译的内容都是真实的时候）；（如果找政府认可的专业翻译人员翻译，就不用affidavit了）
3. 对护照每页复印件的certify，22种人可以做这个certify，以证明复印件是基于原件的复印，没有被篡改。
