There is no sign the rain is going to let up any time soon, I want to bring up something here to make this afternoon go faster, please give me your blessing or advice if you can, thank you

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛I have started looking for a job on the US market for around 3 weeks, some companies moved really fast, I have got a bunch of interviews, also got a better understanding of US market, what their interview processes are like, surprisingly and fortunately I'm now in the interview process with Google (first round of technical interview) next Friday, Amazon (first round of technical interview done this Friday, waiting for the next round).

I was thinking to discuss these after I get both final results, but I'm too excited to hold out, on the other hand, I'm trying to seek some advice here for what the interview like with Google, HR sent me a Google Docs which could be used. it seems to me they could ask me to write codes or solutions on the fly.

I felt the first round of Amazon interview went well, most likely I will get the second interview next week which HM told me is another round of technical phone interview.

However, it seems landing a job in US is not as easy as I thought before, usually there are multiple processes need to be gone through, HR pre-screen, 1st technical interview, 2nd technical interview, then onsite interview, any of these screws up, you are kicked out.

Any advice is highly appreciated.

Have a great weekend.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net

              • No, I have not done that for years, if I'm going to US, I'm gonna lose my manager role, only 2 companies' HR in US contacted me for manager roles, but after that, no further phone call from them.
          • Actually I'm really thinking they are out of my league, because they are too good
      • Contract jobs in US are not as good as in Canada, full time jobs are much better than contracts.
