Our client in North York is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team. They are a very successful, Canadian owned company, within the manufacturing industry. In this role you will be responsible for the month-end margin close for multiple business units, ensuring that the Profit & Loss statements are correct, provide monthly management reports and supporting analysis, prepare variance analysis for a variety of areas including sales, production, price, logistic and cost, lead annual forecasting and budgeting process, provide ongoing review and analysis of the forecast. To be considered for this position you must have 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, strong reporting and analysis skills, the ability to self-manage and strong Excel skills. Experience with SAP is an asset.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the month end close and preparing the Profit & Loss statement
Preparing monthly management reports and supporting analysis
Providing analysis on a variety of areas including sales, pricing, freight, production and cost
Lead the annual forecasting and budgeting process
Providing ongoing budget analysis
Requirements:
5+ years experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Advanced Excel skills
