Due to significant growth, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Controller in the day to day accounting activities in addition to being a key member of a variety of special projects.
Duties:
Work with key stakeholders ensuring financial processes have adhered.
Providing necessary guidance for existing accounting staff.
Participation of forecasting with commentary of results to management.
Providing In-depth analysis of financial performances and KPI’s
Ownership of the accurate and timely financial reporting process.
Support to the Assist Controller in various special projects as required.
Support the annual audit process, being a key point of contact for external auditors.
Ownership and maintenance of the complete organization's balance sheets.
Review and continuous development of the in-house system.
Audit and review of the General Ledger.
Accurate completation of the Monthly, Quarterly and Annual period end process.
Perform expense account analysis assuring necessary reconciliation is adhered .
Review and verification of GL coding for payment requests.
Supoorting the Accounts Recivables and Accounts Payable process as required by the business.
Providing Ad-Hoc financial analysis and suggestions of improvements.
Experience:
Must possess a minuimum of 3 years experience in accounting/finance within a Manufacturing enviroment.
Enrollement or near completion of the CPA.
Effective ERP knowledge, experience with Navision would be a stong asset.
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
Proven attention to detail skill set.

Salary: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year
