1. You are still the international student(F1) according to the US. 2. You can apply for the Returning Resident Permit to come back Canada.To study abroad is one of the common reason to leave Canada for a while. The total period of time you study abroad will not be caculated in the 3 years, but you can retain ur PR in Canada. Good Luck!
