my understanding1. student contribution: for all the cost happens during the program, you can't count on 100% OSAP loan to cover all, you must pay some of them from your own pocket, no matter for living allowance, book or tuition.
2. Student living allowance: OSAP calculates the living expense based on where, and whom you live with etc. maximum amount between 3000$ -21000$, your entitlement is based on how much you need for daily expense, that's why OSAP assessment must take it into account.

就是说你申请贷款的机构认为你自己能负担多少学费的意思.它是根据你的收入算出来的.

真是太感谢楼上的2位朋友啦。“Contribution” 困饶我好几天了。不过我听说贷款中有些是不需要归还的，是哪部分啊？是“living allowance” 吗？
