数学底子不错就好学，否则挺难；前景还成，饿不死撑不饱；不适合女生；东部UT/UW，西部UBC。

我是international student所以在加拿大只有3所med school可以选，最多收10几个学生。我实在是没信心。我有认识人在我们专业考第二，结果连面试的机会都不给。

For those taking undergrad in life science at UofT, they must have an average 80+(A-) to get into medical school. There might be quota for international students. What's the average of the top two at your school?

I am at Queen's right now. top 10 students in life sci must have a average over 85% i guess.I am at Queen's right now. top 10 students in life sci must have a average over 85% i guess. and also only the med schools in u of t, mcmaster, mcgill have very limited enrolments for international student including US. so it is nearly impossible. Being a doctor is the best choice, but it is time consuming. Since you paied too much on that, you always have a great hope on it, however, the result may not be so satisfied.

不对！！老夫也是学土木的，前途光明！不过，女孩子学起来却是比较难，除非你喜欢坐在设计院里整天auto cad，施工现场的活可不行。

谢谢大哥！我现在还是在犹豫要不要转。因为听说CE的薪水是很低的，最多不过7万美金吧。这和任何一个health care的工作比起来显然是少多了。在这里工作也要盯现场吗？是不是一般除了盯现场和画图就没别的活可干了？

除了medicine and dentistry任何health care profession要到7万美金都不容易。读engineering本科毕业就能找工作，读medicine最快要3年under四年medicine, N年residency才正式工作。

请问：我在国内是学建筑的，现在读到研究生二年纪，下半年团聚移民出来，在toronto附近好找本专业工作吗？其是在学校这几年，天天打野，设计作了不少，但没学得到什么，如果从cad drafter作起，能做到designer吗？
