学校要我４月２１日前回复offer。我也想先不说，怕学校收回ｏｆｆｅｒ。但是到报道的时候再说是不是有点晚了。浪费了学校今年的一个入学名额。

1.2.31. you are not going to start the program in 2003, why accept offer now?
2. you have two choices, now or Sept. if you want to get another opportunity next year, in which way you think the school will consider your case more generously? tell them your situation now, or make up some excuse in Sept?
3. Who knows what will happen in 2004?

你分析的很有道理。只是好不容易才申请到的，如果不是因为１０月份待产，我还是很想今年去读的。我很想知道有没有defer 一年入学的先例。

moreyou can contact the department admission office, ask for if possible admission in 2004, if YES, problem solved. otherwise you can make decision whether making efforts having your baby and attending the program at the same time, it doesn't hurt by any means, much better than asking in Sept.
Even you must do both in 2003, I guess first two months after Sept would be the toughest time for you, be prepared.
