Your dependent(s) can't get TD before you get your TN. You may apply for your TN beforehand at a nearby US port of entry (e.g. Buffalo).

Thanks. I know to apply for TD, it needs spouse's TN visa and I-94, that's why I 'm asking if I can use B1/B2 to go together.

I think it's very risky, although I have no supporting document. Basically B1/B2 is for short term (less than 6 months). Some US customer officers are very picky and insist your dependents have the right type of visa.

1. 如果你的Master学历符合你的工作,就不需要本科学历了,除非,你的本科学历比Master更符合你的工作2.按你的说法,我猜你夫人还不是公民,非公民第一次办TD要在Consulate办是否可以境内转换,不清楚,目前为止还没看到有人这样办,你可以试试3.不需要预约

They only care about your transcript. But I did been asked to provide the original chinese degree and diploma. It took me less than 10 minutes for TN

再请教各位一个问题：一般申请TN签证最早可比offer上的start date提前多少天为好？比如提前3周？因为不想冒险在这边先辞职。（通常辞职需要2周通知，如果够时间先拿到签证再辞职最好了，但不知是否可行？）谢谢！
