No visa needed for temp visit if you are a Canadian Passport holder. You'll need H-1 or TN visa to work legally.

For visiting, you don't need visa at all. If you go by plane, take your Canadian passport with you. If you drive, either passport or citizenship card is fine. Do not take both with you.

通常我开车是只带公民卡，坐飞机是两样都带。护照从来没有出示过，也没有被要求出示过。在获得TN签证之后是不管开车还是坐飞机都出示护照。
