枫下茶话 / 美国话题 / 请问哪个地方好? 一是离New York City 驾车大概1小时, 二是离Boston 驾车大概40 分钟, 假设差不多的offer. 个人感觉前者好象生活费蛮高的, 但是将来跳槽机会多些? 后者气候和Toronto 差不多, 冬天也多雪? 想的对么? 谢谢.

BOSTON LIVING COST 也很高的。40分钟如果实在New Hampshire没有State income tax, 也没有Sales tax, 买东西便宜，房子地产税很高。到Maine吃龙虾很方便。

看地图是往西 (Natick), 估计离New Hampshire 还挺远. 你说的没错, BOSTON LIVING COST 也很高, 据说1 br 要$1000+. 不过还好两个工作都不在城里, 可能稍稍好点吧.

the area around highway i-95. e.g. burlington, woburn, lexington. waltham. for one day tour, boston downtown has lots of historical buildings, and museums.

cape cod is good..but if he doesn't live there..maybe too much..most time will be spent on road.
