枫下茶话 / 美国话题 / 看到有些人有了TN签证，还申请H1B。请问申请H1B除了可以以后绿卡外，还有什么好处？另外，在10月份前申请H1B的人是否必须是拥有美国硕士学位以上的人（听说2006年度的配额要到10月后才能得到）？谢谢指点。

本科学历, 四年, 少一年的话(比如印度的三年本科)得加四年经验, 没有学位的没听说行不行.

Yes if you want to take advantage of the 20,000 H1B which I heard are no longer available now. Butif you want to use 2006 quota, you don't have to get at least master degree in US.

Then can I apply for the 2006 quota right now ot I have to wait until next year? I just have Bachelar degree from China and PR here, do you think they might be a problem to get H1b? Thanks a lot!
