TN是临时工性质的签证。持TN时原则上你可以申请GC，不过GC申请过程一般要超过一年。那么，在你拿到GC之前，你必须得再申请一个TN。问题就在这里。你申请新TN时，如果移民官问你申请GC没有？你怎么回答？实话实说：TN会被拒。说没有：谎话可能给你导致很大的麻烦。

GC application while on TN visaI am on TN visa now , whil it will be expired next Jan. My employer recently filed LC through PERM , and I also get approved in one week. The attorney told me if I get LC approved, I can renew my working visa base on LC instead of going through TN renew on board
