6个月有效的I94, 在此期间可以出境再入境,不换I94, 也可以呆够六个月再出来.

过海关,填I-94表,会问你干什么,呆多久,然后在你I94表上写一个失效日期,你说旅游的话,一般都给六个月.入了美国,I94表就是你合法居留美国的证明.你必须在失效前离开美国.我看到过说到加拿大住美领馆移民面世的,就给了两天的有效期.

usually it is very hard for PR. I am A PR and got master in canada, my wife is working here. I came here this Apr 20, I just got an offer and waiting for H1B. most company will not provide H1B, Canadian is much better.

chemistry! I know nothing about MBA, but I know when they contact with you first ask your status, once they know you are not canadian,then they will pass you. and you know H1B cap will be reached for 2006, so you have no chance for job in 2006. you can still summit resume, I will say the chance is very low. for me , I leave the address here for 6 month, but only 2 or 3 comapny contact then no further news. this job is my friend introduced, otherwise no chance at all. so my sugguestion is to wait for the citizen.

my wife got degree in USA, I got an offer , but it seems gone now. H1B reach the cap, I don't think my application for H1b is befroe that. I am so mad about this now

Usually 6 months issued by the custom officer. You can hunt for a job in US but I think you probably will need to go back to T.O. and apply for H1B.
