枫下茶话 / 美国话题 / hi, i have got a question about going to us work and waiting for my citizenship test.?the first, i have 10 years b1/b2 visa,if i have a cash job in us,can i stay in us for half year and then come back to canada a couple of days then go to us again? I mean can i have another half year stay in us? and again again? the second , if i do like this, it will effect my application for canadian citizenship

1,理论上可以，但是你得有服人的理由说服美国海关放你一次又一次的入境，2，只要你能保持移民身份所需的居住时间就没什么大问题。 另外，持B1/2签证打工犯法，你得有足够运气一直不被抓到才行。

i learned from rolia that someone submitted their application then went back to china,after they pass the citizenship test, the officer refused to give them citizenship because he doubted you don't want stay in canada, just for id.

How can you explain to a US officer that you stayed almost all the year around in the US? washing dishes is not a valid excuse.
