枫下茶话 / 美国话题 / Questions for the TN holders, thanks in advance.Under an impression that many of TN holders in Rolia are trying to get the Green Card, then you have to be locked in for several years with a company as an employee, they could treat you whatever they want. For those who can make 100+$/hr, what makes you to pursue GC? Is there better ways to get GC and keep making good money?

For those making 100+$/hr, they are not permanent employees. therefore no GC sponsor at all. (I wouldn't believe company will provide sponsorship to contractors.)If you keep watching this forum, you will notice that only certain ppl claim they make big $$$ like that.

The markup is high if you take this approach. If you have 1 million you can set up a shop and sponsor youself.

1 million is not what a contrator can expect in a short term.I guess most of GC pursurers (via TN) are in their 30s. Based on the currernt schedule, it probably takes 5+ years to get GC, taking the risk of geting laid off and restarting from ground one while making 70k. Is it worth doing that?

Worth it…70k,this number already doubled or tripled incomes of most of them making in Canada, so they have no way and reason to stay
