枫下茶话 / 美国话题 / 曾在美国使馆被要求按手印。现在想申请B2签证，会不会被认为已申请过而被拒？请高手们指点，谢谢。详情见正文。本人从没申请过美国签证，但是曾陪朋友去美国使馆签证.那些大使们问我进去的目的，我明确说是陪朋友来的。也让我按手印，当时不知道怎么回事儿，就按了，出大使馆时却有一张纸说我被拒了，当时没介意，觉得可能只是随便编一个出境的理由（是在美加边境的使馆）。现在想申请B2签证，他们会不会认为我已经申请过了？还有，查网站上要求提供的材料里有一项是‘evidence which show the purpose of trip'.这一项应该是什么呢？先谢了。

Sounds hard to believe. If you didn't fill out an application form, how did they know your name and gave you a rejection letter?

It happened to my friend tooMy family and my friend's family went to the border to apply the L1 visa. My friend got L1 Visa (He is canadian citizen). His wife is Indian. Actually his wife just went with him and two little boy. She already made appointmet in Jan.Even my friend explained to them because he had to bring two kids that's way his wife would come. But they still refused her and asked her to do finger print. I don't know if it will affect you to apply Visa. But for her case, it is okay for her.
