6-month to 1-year is possible but you must be lucky.Only very lucky folks can get green card in less than 1 year after 485. A lot of Chinese are stuck in name checks during 485 phase.
Prepare for the worst but pray for the best.

My cousin has been waiting for more than 2 years.After 485, you can expect: EAD/AP in 1 month. FingerPrint? It depends. Some 1 month, some 3 months, some 6 months, some 1 year.
485 approval? It depends. Quite a few Chinese folks I know are stuck in name check for more than 2 years after 485. Hope you are lucky and get the GC in 1 year.

Some of my co-workers have waited for 3 years.They have waited for more than 3 years. They are stuck in name checks. Others got the green card within 1.5 years after 485. Some lucky ones got it in less than 1 year.
