Why? Because 5K RMB in China, you take it for granted. 5K CAD may not be easy to earn. But I am sure after 10 years of earning 5k+/Month, you won't see $50 as a big deal.

I really doubt that. Whether 5k+ monthly income is a big money or not depends on your family financial status.If you have higher debt or more other expense issue 10 years later, it's hard to say 50$ for a cloth becomes a small piece of cake.

because you have bad family financial plan - I guess you spend more month in Morgage than your life enjoyment! Normal Chinese illness in Canada! Money can buy big house, but can buy your life back!!!!!!!!spend more money in playing, makeup, movies, ..., in building your good life. Because everybody just has around 100-year life, and will be dead!!!!!!!!!!

1st, what I earn is almost doubly 每月5k. 2nd, this is your own problem: always think of how big 款 you are, and how much money you can save, then forget you need to 过日子, 过wonderful日子!when wrinkles go on your face, when you're getting older and older, money still means to you? no. Money is not for saving, but for spending!
You deserve good life, deserve nice 衣服，护肤品, fatastic food, and diverse entertanment.
But you do have your 生活方式 , and your perspective for money, and your definiton of happiness.

再多句嘴，其实我最开始来的时候，也很喜欢这里的brand cosmetics, lancome, clinique,EL，老买，还给家里女性亲戚人手一套sisley, SKII, la mier 都尝试过，现在觉得就那样。 每个牌子总有些做的好的产品，也总有些一般般的。 比如lancome，的睫毛膏，我觉得还不如maybelle，但是lancome的洗面奶，toner就不错（sisley的toner更好，当然也贵多了）。maybelle的护肤霜就赶不上了
