i used to have this problem. when I reduced the resolution from 1024x768 to 400x???, and then switched to TV mode, no flicking anymore. Mine is Toshiba Tecra. try that and let me know'

谢谢，不过TV mode 是什么制式？我试着从1024X768 换到640X480，再换回1024X768，情况是好一点，但是画面还是不流畅。

2m 应该足够了 软解压好象对cpu运算速度较高 用xing mpeg player 试试 以前在386上看VCD 就可以 把质量关掉 音质调到11khz

这和显存关系不大。笔记本电脑如果显卡驱动没有问题的话，就应该是DirectX的问题，放VCD需要用硬件加速
